FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Got questions? We have answers! We want to make your experience with us one you will never forget as you join us to worship our good God. See below for common questions and let us know if we can help with anything else! You can also use the section below to plan your visit, and a member of our team will follow up with you.
Where is First Baptist Dallas located?
We are located in downtown Dallas near the Arts District. You can find directions HERE, no matter where you are coming from in the area!
Where can I park once I arrive downtown?
We have five parking garages and two surface lots for attendees to use. And all of it is free! Whether you are a first-time guest, have children, or just want a quick and easy place to park, we have room. Learn more by clicking HERE.
I’ve never been to First Dallas before. What do I wear?
We want you to feel comfortable joining us for worship just the way you are. When you arrive on campus, you will see people in everything from suits and dresses to jeans and t-shirts. We do not allow backpacks on campus. Please plan accordingly.
Do you have different service times?
Yes, we do. Choir & Orchestra Led Worship is our choir and orchestra led service experience, which meets at 9:15 and 11am in our new Worship Center. We also have our band-led Day One Contemporary experience, which meets at 11am in the Historic Sanctuary.
I have children. Is there a place for them during worship?
Yes! We have a place for children from bed babies through sixth grade for Sunday School. Children from six-weeks-old to PreK can stay in Kids Cove from 9:15am until after the 11am worship service. Older children can be picked up after Sunday School and go to worship with you. If you would like to keep your children with you for the service, please enjoy our Family Room on Worship Center Level 2 where you can watch the service live in a comfortable atmosphere. You can learn more HERE.
You have a large campus. How will I find my way around?
While there are plenty of signs that can help you find your way, the best option is to stop by the Welcome Center in the Criswell Center Lobby or on Level 2 of the Worship Center. Our volunteer team can be found by their lanyards and would love to show you where you're going — and even walk with you to make sure you find your way.
Who is your Pastor?
First Baptist Dallas is led by Dr. Robert Jeffress. Every Sunday, he preaches a bold, practical message directly from God’s Word live in the Worship Center and streamed live in Day One. You can learn more about his ministry HERE.
What are your key beliefs?
First Dallas is a church firmly built on the inerrancy of God’s Word. You can read a detailed account of everything we believe regarding key issues of the Christian faith HERE.
What can I expect on a Sunday?
Sunday mornings are a great time of worship. Join us for a service and then try out one of our Sunday School classes. These classes serve as equipping and community, and we have a class for every age and life stage!
