Dr. Jeffress, using CDC data, urges Christians who are fearful of COVID-19 to get the vaccine because it is nearly 100% effective and is the best way for churches to fully open.
Dr. Jeffress clarifies, “I’m not forcing anybody to get the vaccine. That’s your choice. But what I am saying is if you are not back yet, and would like to come back, one option is to take the vaccine, and therefore you don’t have to worry about what other people do or don’t do here in the church.”
Which vaccine providers will be available? The Moderna vaccine will be used at our clinic.
Do I have to register? Individuals receiving their first dose will need to register through the Dallas County Health and Human Service Vaccination Scheduler.
If I already have my first shot, can I get my second dose here? Individuals who received the first doses at other sites and are due for the second dose do not need to register. Please bring a vaccination card showing the details of the first dose. COVID-19 vaccines are not interchangeable. You should get the same product for your second shot.
Where do I park? Use the map provide and click here for more information on parking and directions.
The County will send reminders to everyone who receives their first dose on Sunday, May 16. The Dose 2 Only (Moderna) Clinic will be at First Dallas on Sunday, June 13, 12:30pm, as a follow-up to the Clinic on May 16.
