Licensed Professional Counselor
Georgina is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate under the supervision of Pam R. Greene, LPC-S. She recently graduated from Dallas Theological Seminary with her M.A. in Biblical Counseling and a B.A in Psychology and Spanish from the University of New Mexico. She is bilingual in English and Spanish, experienced in working with adult and adolescent females in both individual and group counseling settings, is a trauma-informed counselor, and EMDR trained. She is passionate about developing healthy and trusting relationships centered on empathy, dignity, and caring for others the way Christ cares for us all. Georgina's specialties include sexual trauma and abuse issues, depression and anxiety, suicidal ideation, multicultural issues, divorce, and relational wounds. In addition to counseling, she leads a Shelter from the Storm group at First Baptist Dallas for healing from sexual abuse.
When she is not counseling, Georgina enjoys teaching fitness classes at a local fitness studio, scoping out new coffee shops, traveling, and spending time with her Shih Tzu pup, Mateo.
