Paul’s letter to the church at Colossae possesses importance and value out of all proportion to its length of just four chapters. The letter contains some of the most soaring descriptions of the person and work of Jesus Christ that may be found in Scripture. Living in a culture marked increasingly by relativism, pluralism, and fraught with “isms” of every stripe, we need to hear and heed the timeless message of Colossians. It’s a message that spotlights Jesus as the sole focus of saving faith and stresses His absolute supremacy and sole sufficiency. He alone is our only hope and sure foundation. Join us for an insightful survey of the Christ of Colossians.
