Brandon Watson, Young Marrieds Minister
Brandon Watson, a passionate and experienced minister with a past in coaching, aims to take the Young Married ministry at First Baptist Dallas to a whole new level. He envisions young married adults growing in Christ, and growing closer to one another through connection-based Sunday school classes, group and couple discipleship, service opportunities, and fun.
Brandon earned a B.F.A in communications from Sam Houston State University and a Masters in biblical studies from Southern California Seminary. He is a co-author of Extreme Encounters, a devotional book published by Thomas Nelson-Word Publishers.
He and his wife, Claire, have two daughters, Alex and Allison.
Some of his favorite things include coffeehouses, live music, golfing, reading, and hanging out with family and friends. He is a big fan of the television shows “LOST,” “24,” “Diners, Drive-ins and Dives,” and ESPN’s “Sportscenter.”
Paul Moyer, Intern
Paul was born and raised in the bustling metropolis of Forney, Texas. He's had the chance to take the gospel to numerous countries around the world, all while learning to put his faith and trust in Jesus Christ. In the fall of 2004, he started dating, Natalie, the most beautiful girl he had ever seen, who just happened to be his best friend's sister. This past January they got married here at First Dallas and they now live with their dog and cat in an apartment in North Dallas.
Paul is finishing up his business degree at the University of North Texas and plans to go to physical therapy school. He believes God is calling him to full-time ministry at some point, but doesn't quite know what that's going to look like. For now, Paul is trusting in God and enjoying the opportunity for learning ministry on a new level as the Young Married Intern.
Sarah Crews, Administrative Assistant
Sarah earned her degree from the true TECH (Georgia Tech that is) and has a background in private banking. Sarah spent the last eight years in Atlanta where she and her husband, Jordan, attended NorthPoint Community Church. While at NorthPoint, Sarah and Jordan led a Young Marrieds small group and had the opportunity to serve in Kenya this summer.
Sarah and Jordan moved to Dallas this January so that Jordan could start seminary at DTS.
While Texas has quickly become “home,” Sarah still misses her family, two dogs Reese & Ellie, and her favorite Mexican restaurant that serves white queso!
