Our Staff:
Randy Riggins, Minister to Students: Randy and his wife, Holly, have been married 13 years and have four children, Shaelee Grace, Rylee Hope, Silas Reed and Levi James. Randy is from Houston, Texas and has been in student ministry for more than 18 years.
"I have a desire to see students come to an understanding of what it means to have a daily encounter with the Living God. It is exciting to see students realize they can ..."set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity," (2 Timothy 4:12). Student Ministry is about enabling and empowering students and adults to be the "minister" God has called His children to become. My prayer is that God ignites a passion in us for Him that is not centered around legalism, but His wonderful grace, realizing that the Christian life is about knowing Christ, and making Him known. Psalm 78:73 says, "David shepherded them with integrity of heart; with skillful hands he led them." God has used this verse in my life as a reminder of what kind of minister I am to constantly strive to become." Email Randy at
Eddie Miles, Associate Minister to Students: Eddie Miles sports a student ministry resume that spans the country but he now joins us here in the heart of downtown Dallas to use his God-given gifts of mercy, evangelism, creativity, team-building, speaking and structure to draw students into a deeper relationship with Christ – and to reach those who don’t yet know Him. Eddie has devoted the past seven years to student ministry - and plans to devote many more to First Baptist Dallas. Perhaps Eddie’s best quality is his complete reliance on God, as evidenced by his favorite portion of scripture, “His grace is sufficient for me...For when I am weak, then I am strong,” 2 Corinthians 12: 9-10. Eddie earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Religion from Liberty University. Eddie and his wife, Autumn, have two children, Grace and Jude. Email Eddie at

On a serious note, he loves seeing how God can use his children to achieve his purpose. (Romans 8:28) Clay says "We never know how the circumstances we are going through will develop into something great.
