Upward Sports, a Christian league for kids and youth athletics, is now at First Dallas! Upward Sports is designed to instill Christian values, while providing a competitive sports league intended to improve player’s skills and technique. In our league players are taught sportsmanship, commitment and discipline, while coaches encourage and motivate through player awards after each game.
Who is this for?
Boys and girls ages K5-6th grade
On this day we will recognize the hard work of the players and coaches and celebrate a great season!

WHEN: Mondays | Begins March 30

SEASON: 8 weeks + play-offs (top four teams)
Teams are able to recruit 8 core members but must leave room for at least 4 free agents to be added to the team. Free agents will be selected by a draft at the pre-season captain's meeting.
NEW Fitness Class: Core Power Stretch
BEGINS: April 2
WHEN: Tuesdays | 12:15-1:15pm; Thursdays | 6-7am
COST: $10 per session OR $40 per month; First Month Only: $30

Description: We will fuse various disciplines of core conditioning, Pilates, barre, interval cardio training, and therapeutic stretching in a highly charged environment with upbeat music. This low-impact class incorporates exercises that promote balance between strength and flexibility and are functional for injury prevention and cross-training. The format of this class easily adapts on an individual basis to meet all fitness levels from absolute beginners to elite athletes. Participants are encouraged to bring their own mats.
Instructor: Lyndsay Murray, M.A., movement specialist and wellness consultant, has taught at many spas, resorts, and professional conventions around the world. Lyndsay is an ACE and AFAA continuing education provider and currently teaches Core Fusion at Exhale Spa.
Jay's Bootcamp Fitness combines circuit training, cardio, and basic exercises to create the ultimate, fat burning workout. Boot Camp Fitness workouts include, but are not limited to, cardiovascular drills, speed and endurance training, strength training, plyometrics, box drills, obstacle courses and more. You will also learn about proper nutrition while getting the workout of your life, all in a motivating, supportive environment.
Class attendees may park in any unmarked, open parking space on Levels 1-3 and take the stairs/elevator to the roof. Attendees entering the church building for any reason should be appropriately clothed at all times.
