Sports and Fitness Ministry
The Sports and Fitness Ministry at First Baptist Dallas uses team sports, fitness, and recreation as a way to connect sports and fitness-minded individuals to themselves and to the life of First Dallas. Whether you’re looking for a casual game of coed softball or a high-intensity group work out, the First Dallas Sport and Fitness Ministry has a place for you.

Upward Sports, a Christian league for kids and youth athletics, is coming to First Dallas! Is your child interested in basketball or cheerleading? Sign them up for our Boy's and Girl's Basketball & Cheerleading League for Kindergarteners through 6th graders. The season starts in August 16 and ends November 15.
- Practices will be held on Tuesdays or Thursdays once the season begins. (The first two practices on Aug. 30 & Sept. 6 will be the only practices on a Saturday.)
- Practice times will take place between 6pm and 9pm.
- Each team will practice one hour and one day per week.
- All games will be played on Saturdays beginning September 13.
Basketball & Cheerleading Evaluations
When: Saturday, August 30
Time: 10-10:45am (registration and sizing), 10:45-11:15am (parent meeting), 10:45am-12pm (player evaluations)

Co-ed Flag Football
WHEN: Tuesdays | Sept. 23-Nov. 18
WHERE: First Baptist Academy Athletic Complex
SEASON: 6 weeks + play-offs
Teams are able to recruit 8 core members but must leave room for at least 2 free agents to be added to the team. Free agents will be selected by a draft at the pre-season captain's meeting. REGISTER here
Jay's Bootcamp Fitness combines circuit training, cardio, and basic exercises to create the ultimate, fat burning workout. Boot Camp Fitness workouts include, but are not limited to, cardiovascular drills, speed and endurance training, strength training, plyometrics, box drills, obstacle courses and more. You will also learn about proper nutrition while getting the workout of your life, all in a motivating, supportive environment.
Class attendees may park in any unmarked, open parking space on Levels 1-3 and take the stairs/elevator to the roof. Attendees entering the church building for any reason should be appropriately clothed at all times.
