Friends and family lend a tremendous amount of support during life's trials, but sometimes you need emotional and psychological assistance that only a professional counselor can provide. Pathways Counseling Center offers biblically based counseling for individuals dealing with issues such as loss, depression, anxiety, stress, anger, and marriage and family conflict.
Pam Greene, Kathy Darnell, and Dan Clement are professional counselors who care about your emotional and psychological well-being.

Pam Greene M.A., L.P.C.S.
Pam joined FBD’s counseling staff in 2001. Pam’s areas of specialization include play therapy, marriage and family, and abuse issues. As Director of Pathways, she also provides professional consultation, education and training for various ministry groups. Pam has an M. A. in Counseling from Dallas Baptist University, and is pursuing a Ph.D. in Marriage and Family Counseling. Pam is also an approved supervisor with the Texas L.P.C. Board. Pam and her husband Tim live in Dallas and have three children.
Kathy Darnell M.A.B.C., B.C.C.C.
Kathy serves as both counselor and administrative assistant for Pathways. She joined the counseling staff in 2004, after completing her Masters in Biblical Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary. She is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Ministry in Women’s Ministry. Kathy leads both individual and marital counseling, and she particularly enjoys counseling women. She and her husband Tim live in Rockwall and have three children and one grandson.
Dan Clement, Ph. D., Psychologist, L.M.F.T., L.P.C.
Dan has been a therapist at Pathways since 2009, bringing over 20 years of experience in counseling individuals and couples to the team. He earned a Ph.D. in Psychology and Counseling from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. In addition to counseling at Pathways, Dan is Associate Professor of Clinical Psychology at Argosy University. He is also an approved supervisor through LMFT and LPC Boards in Texas. Dan and his wife Kim live in Arlington and have four children.
Pathways is also a training facility for master level students and graduates who are pursuing their licensure in counseling. Students from Dallas Baptist University, Dallas Theological Seminary and other institutions have counseled under the supervision of Pam Greene, L.P.C.S.
Approximately 12 students have completed this training. Currently, two students are serving as intern counselors (Audrey from Liberty University and Denele from D.B.U.)

Pathways Counseling Center also serves as a resource center for marriage and family growth. Resources are available to members and FBD clients.
GriefShare is another ministry offered through Pathways. GriefShare is a support group for anyone who has lost a loved one and is led by Diane Gates. GriefShare meets every Sunday at 3:30 in the Criswell Center of First Baptist, Dallas. With the exception of a few holidays, the group meetings are continuous and are open to members and non-church members alike. The Peacemakers ministry team is also available through the counseling center. Peacemakers is a team composed of qualified leaders in the church body who have extensive experience and training in the area of conflict resolution and reconciliation. These individuals serve as mentors and teachers, coaching those experiencing personal and marital conflict.
