“And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, ‘All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.’” Matthew 28:18-20

About the missions ministry
As a church, we are committed to honoring the Great Commission by partnering with missionaries locally, nationally, and internationally. Our vision is based on the Acts 1:8 model, “You shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth.”
Each year we plan projects within our city, partnering with our local mission pastors to share the gospel. Recently, we partnered with a couple of churches in Seattle. We are excited to partner with other churches in the future. We also take international trips every year. Please CLICK HERE if you are interested in partnering with us in these opportunities or in volunteering in this ministry.
A Virtual Prayer Walk for myanmar
Please pray for those lost in the darkness of Buddhism in Myanmar (formly Burma). Missionary Adoniram Judson labored for years preaching the gospel to this lost people group. Please pray that these people will see the light of Jesus.
Reach 360 2013
"The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.'" Matthew 25:40
On Saturday, November 16, 180 members from First Dallas touched more than 500 needy families in the neighborhoods surrounding three of our mission church parnters. Reach 360 groups met at El Buen Pastor, El Calvario, and Lake June Baptist churches.
Individuals were organized into groups according to specific streets, prayed together, and then went out into the neighborhoods with bags. Each bag contained the basic ingredients for a Thanksgiving meal, including a turkey voucher good at any grocery store. Also included were Bibles, blankets, and information on the local mission church, inviting them to attend the following day for worship.
Families were greeted with warm smiles, friendly handshakes, and asked if they had any specific prayer requests. As a result of the outreach, there were 12 professions of faith, as well as many good prospects gathered for follow up by the local pastors.
As we thank the Lord for His indescribable gift, we also thank Him for the generous outpouring of love and concern from First Dallas members through our missions ministry.
