Scripture makes it clear that God-sized vision is only possible when regular men dare to follow God-given plans in a way that honors the Lord. We believe our church is called to transform our world with God’s Word…one life at a time. As a staff, we are resolved to follow where God leads, and we believe He has big plans in store in 2018. We accomplish our calling through committing to various principles that we see modeled in scripture, principles and characteristics that help us strategically, obediently, and faithfully carry out our mission.
Resolved to regularly attend worship because scripture calls us to never forsake the assembling of ourselves together (Hebrews 10:25).
Resolved to equip ourselves with God’s Word through ministries like Sunday School, Discipleship University, and Bible studies because we are called to be able to give an account for the hope that is in us (1 Peter 3:15).
Resolved to serve the body of Christ through one of the ministries in the church by using the gifting God has given us and thus blessing the body (1 Peter 4:10).
Resolved to influence others by sharing our faith in Jesus and inviting them to be part of the church because we have been entrusted with the greatest gift and are charged to share it with others (Matthew 28:16-20).
Resolved to pursue excellence in all we do because we know it honors God and inspires people.
Resolved to lead with diligence and humility, committed to making everything we do better because how we work is a reflection of Christ to a watching world.
Resolved to steward our resources well because everything we own is God’s and is to be used for the furtherance of the Kingdom of God and advancing the gospel to a hurting world.
Resolved to execute all we do with wisdom and discipline, knowing that we are called to be active and not passive in how we work and minister.
Resolved to follow where God leads because we know man plans his way but the Lord directs his steps.
Resolved to proactively create opportunities to engage with others, introduce them to the church, and spread the gospel.
Resolved to operate as a team, to lean on one another’s strengths, encourage in our weaknesses, operate with joy and ownership, and grow in our leadership of ourselves and one another.
We are ready for 2018. We are confident that God is moving, and it will be our best year yet. Will you resolve to partner with us for all God has in store?
