HOW CHRISTIANS SHOULD RESPOND TO A DONALD J. TRUMP PRESIDENCY

DALLAS, TX (November 9, 2016) – America has spoken and we now have a new president who will occupy the White House. On Tuesday, November 8, 2016, Donald J. Trump was elected the 45th president of the United States. The Evangelical base came out in record numbers. In fact, it was the highest number of Evangelical Christians voting in decades, according to FOX News.

In his first letter to Timothy, Paul made it clear we’re to pray for all those who are in authority. That is why Dr. Robert Jeffress, Pastor of First Baptist Dallas and Bible-teacher for the international ministry, Pathway to Victory, is calling on all Christians to join him in praying for his friend, president-elect Donald J. Trump.

For those who didn’t vote for him or are uncertain about the future, Dr. Jeffress reminds us that these results are not a surprise to God; He is still on the throne and in control. “As Christians, our hope does not reside in kings, presidents, or any authority other than God, and God alone. So, let’s fulfill our mandate to be salt in an ever darkening world.”

Through his international ministry, Pathway to Victory, Dr. Jeffress is offering a free resource titled “How Should We Now Live." To download that resource and learn about Pathway to Victory, click here.
