JEN WILKIN is a wife, mom to four, and an advocate for women to love God with their minds through the faithful study of His Word. Jen is an author and Bible teacher. She is author of Women of the Word: How to Study the Bible with Both Our Hearts and Our Minds and most recently None Like Him: 10 Ways God Is Different from Us (and Why That’s a Good Thing).
DEBBIE STUART desires to point women to the Word of God and equip them to become powerful influencers in their families and communities. She is the new Director of Ministry Initiatives at Hope for the Heart. Most recently she served as Director of Church and Leadership Development for Women of Faith and previously served as Director of Women’s Ministry at Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano, Texas. Debbie authored 20 Minutes a Day for the Rest of Your Life and 20 Lessons Learned from 20 Minutes a Day.
REBECCA CARRELL is the co-host of KCBI’s Morning Show. Rebecca’s personal prayer is that God would allow her to encourage others to know and grow in Christ. That He would empower her, through His Holy Spirit, to be a bold witness for Him, whether it be through “the breads,” speaking engagements, retreats, or one-on-one conversations. She prays that she can fully surrender to His will, and use it to bless the lives of many.
CHRISTINE CAINE is an Australian born, Greek blooded, lover of Jesus, activist, author and international speaker. Her primary passion is to make Jesus’ last command her first priority by giving her all to see the lost saved and to build the local church – globally. Christine also has a passion for justice, and together with her husband, founded the anti-human trafficking organization, The A21 Campaign. In 2015, they also founded Propel Women, an organization designed to honor the calling of every woman, empower her to lead, equip her for success and develop a sense of God-given purpose. Her most recent book is, Unashamed: Drop the Baggage, Pick Up Your Freedom, Fulfill Your Destiny.
LISA HARPER is a hilarious storyteller and theological scholar and has been lauded as a gifted communicator, whose writing and speaking overflow with colorful pop culture references that connect the dots between the Bible era and modern life. Her style combines sound scriptural exposition with easy-to-relate to anecdotes and comedic wit. Lisa says her greatest accomplishment to date is getting to be a mama to Missy, the daughter she adopted from Haiti.
Breakout Sessions with First Dallas Women
PAM BREWER is the Director of Women's Ministry at First Dallas. Her session, "The Peace Pyramid," invites women to come and find out God's simple formula for living: the perfect plan and purpose for peace in our daily walk.
JULIA JEFFRESS SADLER is the Girls Ministry Director at First Baptist Dallas, a licensed professional counselor, and a national speaker for Just Say Yes. She is a regular conference speaker, radio show guest, and blog contributor. Julia has a nationwide following through her monthly blog JuliaJSader.com. Julia’s clinical training, biblical foundation, and sense of humor provide a fresh perspective on cultural topics. Julia’s session will cover “Why God Allows Suffering.”
SARAH LARY's session, "Bible Study for the Busy Years," calls all mommy maniacs or the career crunched to spend time in God's Word using three time-effective methods.
LIZ RODRIGUEZ spends her days in seminary classes, spends her afternoons interning with First Baptist Dallas Women’s, and spends her evenings with her friends laughing and challenging the definition of community to be something much deeper. In her session, "When the 'What Ifs' Leave You Feeling Discontent," women will learn what it looks like to pursue Christ and know and understand that they have been made WHOLE in Him!
JONI CLEVELAND and CINDY MURPHY are leaders of the Women's Bible Study Teaching Team at the church. Their session will cover “Word for words” where women will learn the impact God’s Word can have on their lives and their influence in every season.
DEBBY EFURD is an author, speaker, blogger, and President and Founder of Initiative 180. Her session is titled "Why Your Story is Important."
TANYA MAGNUS session is called "What Would Jesus Post." In this class women will learn biblical principles of posting and what Jesus might have posted on His Facebook, Instagram, or Pinterest account.
TRICIA LOVVORN PATTERSON is a Bible teacher who presents timeless Truth from God's Word through relevant messages that will meet women and girls right where they are. Her session is called “The Unwasted Life.” Whatever your calling, career, or circumstances, as believers we can all live a life unwasted. This session covers how a perspective of the brevity of life can launch you into a purposeful and meaningful life for the Kingdom of Heaven.

- What about lunch? When you register, you will have the option to order your choice of two lunch options or discover restaurants or food trucks within three blocks of our location.
- When do doors open? Doors will open at 6:30pm on Friday evening and at 8:30am on Saturday morning. The event begins at 7pm Friday and 9am Saturday.
