Women’s Conference

April 12 - April 13

Don’t miss the First Dallas Women’s Conference on Friday, April 12 at 6:30pm, and Saturday, April 13 at 8:30am, hosted by Unapologetic’s Julia Jeffress Sadler and the Women’s Ministry! Choose to invest in your faith, and join other women as we gather in fellowship for a time of incredible teaching, powerful worship, and life-giving encouragement. With speakers Kerri Pomarolli, Marian Jordan Ellis, Rebecca St. James, Tricia Lovvorn Patterson, and Sheila Walsh, it will be a transformative weekend as we learn how in Christ, we are “Flawed Yet Flawless.”

“But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, so that the surpassing greatness of the power will be of God and not from ourselves; we are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not despairing; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed . . .” (2 Corinthians 4:7–9)

One of the most beautiful parts about being a Christian is that even though we are flawed—broken people in a broken world who are far from perfect—we are made flawless in Christ. We are no strangers to affliction and despair, and we have all made mistakes in our lives, but God takes our broken pieces and mends them together to make us whole. But He doesn’t just make us whole—He makes us even more beautiful than we could imagine. Just as in the art form kintsugi, which creates a mosaic by welding broken pieces with gold, God makes us new by filling our brokenness with His goodness and glory. It is in our brokenness that His lavish grace is displayed, and it is in our weakness that His power is made perfect. When we are in Christ, we are flawed yet flawless.
