Young? Married? Click here to get the "Game Plan"

The HuddleWhat an exciting time to be a part of First Baptist Dallas! We have been building up the excitement for Announcement Sunday, and we now know what our church has committed to build. Therefore,
we must continue to raise the bar of outreach and ministry to young married couples in our city! How can we do this? I want to begin with an easy and simple request. I am asking for each one of our current young married couples to focus on reaching out to at least one other couple this summer. We want that couple to become plugged into our ministry and begin or continue their
journey with Christ! Our goal is to connect! It is a goal that is very obtainable! Just think what would happen in our ministry if we doubled over the summer while making genuine relationships with new couples in our city. Let’s make an IMPACT together!

I want to share with you several coming events to which you can invite couples so you can help with our summer outreach goal!

First, we should always invite our guests to Sunday School. We have some of the best Young Marrieds anywhere, and we should make every effort to get our new friends introduced to our classes! It is one of the quickest ways for couples to make connections in our church! The development of life-long friendships and teaching that shapes eternity both happen on Sunday morning!

On Sunday afternoon, June 6, we will welcome Mary Flo Ridley to First Dallas as she shares “Sooner Than You Think – Simple Answers to Challenging Questions” – a free parenting seminar from 4–5:45pm in Coleman Hall for parents of all ages. Seize the opportunity while your children are young to start having conversations that will forever shape their sexual character. Refreshments will be served. Click here to reserve childcare.

Friday Unplugged: A Coffeehouse Experience
returns on Friday, June 25, from 7:30–9:30pm in CenterStage. The evening will feature Jim Cole, an incredibly talented and gifted Christian singer/songwriter who happens to sound exactly like James Taylor. The evening will include espresso-based coffee drinks, regular brewed coffee and custom-made desserts! Don’t like coffee? Don’t worry. We will have hot chocolate and water available too. Cost is $10/person and you receive a free VIP guest pass to give to someone who is not involved at First Dallas with each purchased ticked.

Finally, on July 9, we will have a Young Married Couples Putt-Putt night! Kids are welcome too!
