Camilla - Amanda - PeterTwenties class member Peter Hoewisch never met his older sister, who passed away at ten months old.. But her life has blessed Peter and his family so much so that when he heard of the needs of the Downtown Pregnancy Center, it was only natural for him to push his class to donate.

“I am left with no conclusion other than any life, whether 100 years, ten years, ten months, ten hours, ten minutes, or ten seconds old, can have an unimaginable impact on anyone that shares in that living, breathing life,” Peter said. “So to have pushed for the now successful drive was a given on my part.”

The class as a whole donated 1,333 diapers and more than $350 in gift cards, while one member gave a $1,000 love offering to the center.

“We were delighted and very moved to have such a generous response from the singles department at First Dallas,” DPC Director of Development Vicki Gosdin said. “To have such generosity and outpouring of support is a great encouragement to our staff and gives us such hope for the future of the pro-life movement to see such dedicated young people involved in such a hands-on way.”

“With the economy so tight right now, our demand for diapers has gone way up,” Vicki added. “This very practical donation will help young mothers who have chosen life to have the support they need as they care for their children.”
