REACH360 Project Serving 360+ DFW Families This Thanksgiving
On November 12, 360 homes around three of our DFW mission churches will be blessed with Thanksgiving dinner fixings, friendly smiles, and the hope of Christ.
The three partnering mission churches are:
Iglesia El Calvario at 5227 Nomas St., El Buen Pastor at 3011 Cypress Ave., and Lake June Baptist Church at 10602 Lake June Rd.
You can get involved by filling a bag (or two) for one of these less fortunate families, or by signing up to serve on a delivery team.
Representatives from each of the mission churches will accompany the delivery teams to make the neighborhood church connection with the recieving families. In addition, a card in the bag of Thanksgiving fixings will invite these families to the local mission church.
Details, sign-up forms, empty bags, and shopping lists are available Sunday in the CC lobby.
Those who pick up a bag to fill will be asked to include: two cans of beans, one box of rice, one box of dressing/stuffing, one can of sweet potatoes, one package of powdered drink mix, two light blankets, and $15 to offset the cost of a turkey voucher. First Dallas will provide a Bible for each bag.
All who fill bags are asked to return them next Sunday, November 6.
Those who help deliver the bags on November 12 will receive a free Reach360 T-Shirt.
