Most Prevalent Myths About Our New Church Campus
“At the close of this campaign, there is someone waiting in the wings to make up the difference of whatever is needed to complete the campus.”
Oh, that it were true! Unfortunately, no such donor exists. It is now time for each and every member, young or old, rich or poor, male or female, to step up to the plate. The future of this
church campus is in the hands of the members, each one giving sacrificial, not token, gifts.
“The church will have to go deeper in debt.”
The Pastor and leaders have promised that they will not propose a project that costs more than the amounts pledged on May 2.
“If we don’t reach the goal, we can just build in phases.”
The scope of the project is based on needs our church has right now; all parts of the plan work together. Because it all works together, doing it all at once is the best use of God’s money.
And then there is the unprecedented savings in construction costs available right now. We’ve been told that for every dollar we spend, we can get a $1.30 in value because of the depressed
prices in cost. Because inflation will take place sooner than later, we know this opportunity is only available for a limited time, and want to take advantage of that.
“A 3,000 seat worship center too small.”
Our current sanctuary only seats 1,500 people comfortably. Our new worship center will double our capacity.
