Sao Luis Outdoor ServiceBrazil 2010 TeamLarry Walker - Brazil 2010God blessed mightily July 16-25 as a team of seven people representing FBCD Missions traveled to the island of Sao Luis do Maranhao in equatorial Brazil. This is the second year that FBC Dallas has partnered with FBC Sao Luis.

The team presented their personal testimonies in the slums of northeast Brazil and participated in open-air meetings often in drug-entrenched neighborhoods. The Lord was honored as more than 58 residents indicated that for the first time, they prayed to receive Christ as their personal Savior - from home visits alone.

“It was so exciting to see how God uses His people to reach those who desperately need to hear that Jesus loves them and is actively drawing them to Himself,” said Minister of Missions Michael Fore.
In one particular home two members of the family regularly fought and actually hit one another.  Afterwards, they were embracing one another and weeping."
