New Student Minister Randy Riggins doesn’t have super powers. He puts his pants on one leg at a time, makes silly faces at his four kids at the dinner table and holds his wife’s purse when she tries on a new outfit.
Perhaps that’s why his relationship with God will be so inspiring to the members of First Baptist Dallas and our students – before the day begins, with all the responsibilities life entails, Randy seeks the face of God, diving deep into His Word for strength, encouragement and wisdom.
“His heart for God is genuine and fresh,” Randy’s friend and former associate Dr. Johnny L. Derouen, associate professor at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary said. “What he teaches, he lives.”
Randy’s daily Christian walk shows students, and all of us as believers, that not only is it possible to have this kind of relationship with God on a daily basis, but it’s something we don’t want to miss out on!
“I want to see students experience life change through a real and deep relationship with God,” Randy said. “This is going to be a student ministry empowered by prayer and thirst for intimacy with Christ.”
