Go Shopping for a Cause, or Two
Next time you go to the grocery store, keep the Ronald McDonald House of Baltimore and the kids at The Crossroad Church in mind ...
CAUSE ONE:
During their summer mission tour, Chapel Choir and Orchestra students will stop and sing at the Ronald McDonald House of Baltimore. In addition to a concert, the students plan to bless the organization with the items it needs most.
Topping the list for the Ronald McDonald House of Baltimore: pots and pans (new), paper towels, Wal-Mart giftcards, toilet bowl cleaners, Lysol disinfecting wipes, dryer fabric softener sheets – dye free/perfume free, non-bleach bathroom cleaner, Swifter sweeper dry cloth refills, and Swiffer duster refills, but all household necessities are a blessing.
Be a part of this loving act of service. Collection bins will be spread throughout our campus June 5-19.
CAUSE TWO:
Children at The Crossroad Church, a mission chapel of First Baptist Dallas, will have an awesome VBS June 21-24 thanks to our Young Marrieds Department (and you, if you're willing to help)! Next time you go shopping, please pick up some bottled water and individually wrapped snacks (fruit snacks, Rice Krispies Treats, Goldfish, etc.). Please no peanut butter/peanut items.
Collection bins can be found in your Sunday School room and at the 5th floor welcome desk Sundays, June 5 and June 12.
