First Dallas Members Pledge Record-Breaking Amount with God's Leading

On Sunday, May 16, First Baptist Dallas capped a six-month capital campaign, announcing that the congregational response totaled $115,062,000 - a pledge that far exceeds the largest amount ever raised for a single project by a church ($85 million), according to consultants.
Referring to God's provision for the Israelites in the Old Testmanet account of their Exodus from Egypt, Dr. Jeffress said to the congregation, "For generations to come, people will look at May 16, 2010 as a day that God parted the Red Sea and did a miracle for the people of First Baptist Church Dallas."
