First Baptist Academy Set to Provide Pre-K4 Education in Fall 2010
Quality pre-kindergarten education and care for your 4-year-old will be available downtown at First Baptist Academy beginning in the fall of 2010.
Formally K-12, this private Christian college-preparatory school has branched out to meet the needs of the downtown business community even more by offering a Pre-K4 program.
The curriculum is set to include age-appropriate activities/materials designed to help children 1.) grow spiritually, mentally, physically and emotionally, and 2.) develop language, reading, writing and math skills in readiness for kindergarten.
Location: The Pre-K4 classrooms will be located on the 4th floor of the First Baptist Dallas Criswell Center with kindergarten, first, and second grade (new facilities).
Calendar: The Pre-K4 program will follow the official First Baptist Academy calendar for holidays and Day Camp provision.
Hours: The school day is from 8am to 3pm with drop off as early as 7:15am. After-school care is provided free of charge until 4pm. Day Camp is available for students who require supervision between 4pm and 6pm for which there is an additional fee.
