“I saw Chonda Pierce about five years ago with my mother and grandmother,” First Dallas Member Elizabeth Curry said. “She had all three of us laughing so hard. She’s a comedian for all ages.”
On her current tour, “This Ain’t Prettyville,” coming to First Baptist Dallas November 12, Chonda mixes music and comedy into a side-splitting blend, opening with a song about the current fascination with Botox and plastic surgery – “Barbie’s made of plastic y’all, because I can’t afford THAT overhaul.”
