Celebrate The Season
For more than 300 young married adults, elegance was on the menu Friday night, November 20, at First Baptist Dallas’ Celebrate The Season dinner party.
Soft lighting, red roses and white-hydrangea centerpieces transformed CenterStage into an elegant oasis… And valet parking, hors d’oeuvers and a jazz ensemble in the Atrium made the event more reminiscent of an upscale wedding reception than a church fellowship.
Then, as dinner wound down, the entertainment geared up. Couples enjoyed the talents of both a young violinist and an improv comedy troupe before the evening ended with a challenge to focus on Christ during the hectic holidays.
More than just an elegant evening, the dinner marks a new era in the Young Marrieds ministry at First Dallas.
“Celebrate The Season gave hundreds of young married adults the opportunity to connect with each other. Everyone that attended had a great time,” said new Minster to Young Married Adults Brandon Watson. “Many expressed how thankful they were to be able to share a wonderful evening with others just like themselves.”
“I think we will look back on this evening as a ministry milestone that ushered in a new day for the Young Married Ministry. This is just the beginning of exciting things to come!” Watson said.
