Preschool VolunteerHow can you make a difference in your church family and in the kingdom of God? “inVOLve” yourself.

“inVOLve Volunteer Ministry” offers long-term and short-term volunteer positions, within the church, based on the needs of each particular ministry area.

From Aug. 1 to Aug. 15, you’ll find inVOLve interest/registration tables in the Criswell Center Lobby and atrium with opportunities galore for you to explore – so whether you like working with children, working with media, or working up a brew of hot coffee, we can find a place for you to work your magic!

“Church becomes more intimate and personal once you get out of your seat, walk around, talk to people and serve people,” Camilla Velasco, Twenties’ Class outreach coordinator, said. “You begin to recognize faces, you have the opportunity to love on somebody who otherwise might feel lonely and isolated in worship ... bottom line, volunteering at church gives us the opportunity to be the hands, eyes, ears and feet of Jesus in this world!”

“As we strive to be more and more like Christ, we must remember that Jesus said of Himself that He came to serve and not to be served,” John Bernard, minister of guest relations, said. “It is up to each of us individually to begin using the gifts God has given us for His glory.”
