"OH, sing to the LORD a new song! Sing to the LORD all the earth." Psalm 96:1

Come  Join  Us!!

When your 1st through 6th grade child becomes involved with Children’s Choir at First Baptist, they will gain a strong foundation on which to build their lives. They will become the worship leaders of the future!

We will challenge each child to commit their life to God through their own personal faith and belief in Jesus Christ as their Savior, their Lord, and their best friend. We will help them develop their best response to Him through worship and music.

MUSIC MAKERS

1st, 2nd, and 3rd Grade

Students will learn the basics of musicianship, which are artfully woven into each lesson plan. They will learn Psalms, hymns and spiritual songs throughout the year. Students will begin to build their ability and confidence.

YOUNG MUSICIANS

4th, 5th, and 6th Grade

Students will continue their musical journey by learning songs that are more musically challenging. Their confidence comes when they sense that God himself is their audience. They sing of Him, to Him, and for Him!

All Children’s Choirs will help to lead in worship by singing in our corporate worship services, participating in our exciting Christmas music event, and presenting an awesome musical or concert at the end of the year!
