GriefShare is an open, ongoing group for those who are dealing with the loss of a loved one, either recent or in the past. It is led by DiAne Gates and is open to both men and women. The group will meet in room 517 of the Criswell Center. No registration is required, and there is no cost except for a workbook. The Pathways Counseling Center


The Pathways Counseling Center provides biblically-based counseling for individuals dealing with issues such as loss, depression, anxiety, stress, anger, and marriage & family conflict. The professional counseling staff includes Mrs. Pam Greene, Dr. Steve Hunter, and Kathy Darnell.  


Pam Greene
M.A., L.P.C.S.


Pam has an M.A. in Education from Southwestern Theological Seminary and a M.A. in Counseling from Dallas Baptist University. She is working toward here doctorate at Texas A & M-Commerce in marriage and family. As a licensed professional supervisor, Pam counsels individuals, couples and children and supervises others working toward licensure. She and her husband, Tim, live in Dallas and have 3 children.


Steve Hunter
Ed.D., L.P.C.S.

Steve is currently serving as Dean of Students and Associate Professor of Counseling and Psychology at Criswell College. He has a M. Div. from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, a doctoral degree in Counseling from Texas A & M, Commerce and a second doctorate in Pastoral Ministries from Mid-America Baptist Seminary. He and his wife, Karen, have 6 children and live in Rowlett, Texas.


Kathy Darnell
M.A., L.P.C. Intern


Kathy is both the administrative assistant and a counselor for Pathways.  She has a M.A. in Biblical Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary and is currently working toward a D. Min. in Women’s Ministry. Kathy has been with Pathways for three years and especially enjoys counseling on women’s issues. She and her husband, Tim, have 3 children and one grandchild.


  

The Pathways Counseling Center also serves as a resource center for marriage and family growth, including many books/media available to members and FBD clients. The staff and lay ministry team offer classes, seminars, and workshops throughout the year.

The Peacemakers ministry team is composed of qualified lay leaders who have extensive experience and training in the area of conflict resolution and reconciliation. These individuals serve as mentors and teachers, coaching those experiencing personal and marital conflict.
